Many people in the world are 'lost'. If you are one of them, do not dismay because more that 98% of people in the world are 'lost'. And because they are 'lost' they feel fearful and therefore lack of confidence. They don't know what they really want and they don't know where they are heading. Unlike a new TV or microwave oven, we are born without a proper instruction guide.

We are just like a leaf that is being blown by the wind "uncertain" of where it will land.

So where lies the answer? Let's look back at the 'leaf'. If it is re-attached to the branch which is attached to the tree which has its roots deep in the ground, with its root hairs immersed in water and minerals - this leaf will be "confident" and "evergreen" and will live "forever". It's been linked to its survival source.

It's the same with human beings, if we can link back to our original source, knowing it and understanding it, we would be so confident of ourselves as we know where we are from and what we are made of. You would dare to do a lot of things. You would know exactly what you are doing. You would dare to fail in order to try new things. You would not be easily swayed by the "winds" - what people say, what people to do etc.

So the answers actually lie within you - not outside. But outside factors do help - for example, if you are being forced by external factors to look at yourself - soon you will find it.

Believe me, once you find it - everything will begin to unfold before you. Every step you take, every action you make will all be filled with confidence.

All the great teachers in history have been preaching the same thing but it has fallen on deaf years. It was simply put by Socrates thousands of years ago: - "Knoweth Thyself". Ask yourself, how can you have confident in yourself if you don't know who you are?

Many of you may be puzzled by this question. We know who we are, I am Ah Ben, I am Nancy, I am George, I am Ahmad, I am Samy - and start naming the names that your parents gave you. But sad to say, that's not who you are - they are only names.

If you sincerely want to find it, you will and when you do, you will know that it is the greatest power in this universe, how else will you feel but confidence when you know you posses such an awesome power.
