What If We Could Travel Through Time?

By Billi Lim

Man has always been fascinated with time travel since civilization began. This fascination is not so much based on the travel itself but by the fact that we would be able to know what the multitude do not know, if we are able to do so and the rest can't. Let's say we are able to travel to the future and bring back all the ideas and inventions to our present time. Wouldn't we be very rich? Let's say we can travel to the past and sell our inventions to the people there, wouldn't we be like a genius and be handsomely rewarded?

I'm sure up till this point, you may be thinking that I'm a bit screwed up! What has time travel to do with our daily lives?

Also, time travel is only a fantasy - a science fiction!

My dear friend, recently I just made a travel through time. I traveled to the year 1980 (Malaysian time) 21 years in the past.

I went to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I was like a man from the future when I landed at their airport. There were approximately 500 motorbikes to 1 car. Most of the buildings were as if it was Malaysia 21 years ago. Imagine yourself knowing first hand what will transpire for them in the next 21 years.

Imagine if you just land on just one opportunity and earnestly work on it there and where you are now residing. Soon you will be very rich. There are many places like Vietnam in the world today.

In 1991, Taksin Shinawatra saw the opportunity of telecommunication in Thailand. Within 10 short years he became the richest man in Thailand and now its Prime Minister. He went to the United States (the future), came back to Thailand (the present), saw the opportunity, work on it and that's it.

The question is, would you dare to venture out into the past where you may not have all the present amenities and comfort of modern life. You may prefer to stay in your present cozy life getting a guaranteed income in a "respectable" job in a large company. Years will go by, and you will envy why others are so much better off and you are still "stucked" in the "rut" of "security".

My dear friend, what I've just shared with you is one of the greatest secrets of Multi-millionaires.

Do seriously think about it. Do not be like most people who always want to go to Heaven but is not prepared to die.

Yes, dare it - there will be obstacles and challenges. No path is without stones, no roses are without thorns. But it's through overcoming all these that one will finally smell the sweet senses of the roses.

Your fellow traveler in time.
