The Spark for the New Millennium!

In less than 30 days we will be approaching the 3rd Millennium of Mankind. At the dawn of this new era we are experiencing great changes and upheavals everywhere.

On one hand we witness the atrocities that had occurred in East Timor and on the other hand we see the greatest wealth creation in Silicon Valley.

Wherever there are people who refused to acknowledge this wind of change and continue to suppress the masses into servitude - we shall witness atrocities. Where people are willing to let the potential of the human being flow free - we shall witness the greatest wealth creation in the history of mankind.

The days when one nation suppresses another, or one race suppresses the other or one human being suppresses the other is coming to an end. Knowledge and information are now no longer reserved for the chosen few. Thanks to the microchip, nobody can bluff all the people all the time.

For the first time in the history of mankind, any individual, regardless of their background, colour of the skin or length of their hair shall truly be able to become what they want to be.

It's about time we shake off the shackles of "Fear" that most people are being trapped in, if we are to tap the abundance of what the next millennium brings.

Many things which we are taught at home, in schools or colleges may no longer be very applicable. In fact we are beginning to see many institutions producing graduates for industries which are fast disappearing. Even leaders are not able to understand what is happening. It's time that every individual start to lead themselves - to have the courage to move forward into the unknown - because the next millennium will be full of unknowns and uncertainties.

Do not be afraid of these "uncertainties" because they are what life is all about. If you can predict everything that is going to happen - life would be very dull - in fact it's not life anymore. Remember what Mother Teresa said, "Life is an adventure …. dare it!

The spark which trigger, Christopher Columbus to explore the new world, the spark which propels Marco Polo into the Far East, the spark that pushes Edmund Hillary to conquer the Everest, the spark that sent man to the moon.

Yes, courage must come first, everything else will then follow. You may have all the knowledge, plans, ideas and dreams but without the courage to do it, no dreams can ever become a reality.
